I have what looks to be French slipware, I just thought I would post it to see if anyone knows anything about it...maybe French? date?

Yes, could be French, although looks more of a glaze than a slip decoration. Painted on a white tin glaze.
The back looks similar to Puigdemont pottery, from Spain, so Spain is another possibility.
