I have a couple with same mark and in the same style. Leslie Short was said to be the potter on the ceramike website but there are no other references and nothing has been proved  Happy

Between potting with his father at Lowerdown and going to Spain I believe that Simon Leach worked on his own somewhere in Devon.

I am not saying that it is by him but it could be and I suppose that you could contact him. May not be productive though.

i listed an item with this same mark online before and i was contacted by Simon leach himself, that is not one of his work.. so defiantly by Laurie short that mark looks quite similar to Simon leach mark :)

Laurie Short is a Cumbrian potter. I've seen several of these pieces and once got into trouble with Simon Leach for listing one as his on online. He's not in any of the books. Simon Leach has himself suggested Len Stevens, but he only makes ocarinas.

another online seller who got in trouble for listing is lot as simon leach lol

Thanks Naomi , I'm now going to rule out Laurie Short , the mark isn't quite the same and the style deffo not . My pot has a Leach shape and decor influence .

It doesn't look like Simon Leach's mark, though. The mark, clay & decor look more like Sunny's pot, which Simon Leach ruled out as being one of his -
