Yes , I believe so , he did also work in Australia & Germany , he states he has influence from Monet & Matisse , but his background influence is english & european folk art .

Yes it is one of my pots,It was made when i was at a workshop in Norwich Le Dieu Pottery,around 1987 ,after returning from Germany i was for a while influenced by the folk art of Hungary.This was a stoneware pot once fired to 1280c. Yes it is one of my pots,It was made when i was at a workshop in Norwich Le Dieu Pottery,around 1987 ,after returning from Germany i was for a while influenced by the folk art of Hungary.This was a stoneware pot once fired to 1280c. I've had this vase for a while but have no idea of the potter. Does anyone have any ideas . Earthenware, highly glazed in multi colours slip trailed in black.

I think it's Richard Wilson, but it's not exactly like the example I have of his. but he has changed it a few times, or it could simply be that he stuck a fat finger over the top while the clay was still soft.

I did lean towards Richard Wilson in my book but looking at his stuff, it just didn't match. Taking a piccy at different angles I can deffo see an R & W.
