My 2nd ID Request. Empty My 2nd ID Request.

Here we go with my 2nd piece which is puzzling me.
This small vase (13cm x 8cm) has what I would describe as a French 'V' or is it an inverted 'A' ?
I think it may be a number beneath the letter... 24 perhaps ?

Could it be a Kanji character? A Japanese sake bottle maybe?

It is Japanese and a sake bottle and is in the Bizen style, so was probably made in or around Bizen itself.

Bizen pottery is usually marked with an incised squiggle that has no meaning (see the Bizen thread on the Forum) and so the only way of identifying it further would be to find a piece by a known potter or from a known kiln that has the same mark.

From what I can find, the bottom right figure looks like the mark for Koichi Hisamoto. I found a very similar one listed elsewhere.
