Beautiful Cup
There are no markings on its bottom! It looks very French; would you agree? What age? Thank you.

Re: Beautiful Cup
I suspect Austria/Bavaria. I have a cup with that scalloped gilded edge round the rim, and although I've not been able to match it to a maker, it's has an Austrian-looking lady wearing hunting-style hat and cape, painted on the side.

Re: Beautiful Cup
I have a few Meissen cups with very similar, twisted handles. However the decoration looks French. Difficult to tell without the mark

Re: Beautiful Cup
don't know who made it, but i love the Victorian period taste for pink and gold. I agree that it has a French flavour to it - like Sevres, but it could just as easily be English or even Welsh - a factory like Davenport etc.
