small vase marked JOS Empty small vase marked JOS

Another pot from a mixed box of mostly tat from our local auction. I'm stuggling to find anything on pots marked JOS but i'm think that in the dim and distant past that I might have seen somewhere that Abuja was sometimes marked JOS but i'm not sure where i read that.

There was a pottery at Jos in Nigeria that was started by Michael Cardew but all the pots were in the "Cardew/Abuja" style so I can't believe that your vase came from there.
