Temple libation vessel? Copy of an Aztec piece, maybe. Can't tell if it's made out of clay or cement. Is it heavy?

i don't think is made out of cement, but is quite heavy

thanks for the information naiomim... i should visit the museum next week with some ancient stoneware oil lamb i have... might take this along, to see what i can learn about this item.
