Enameled Pottery Bird Vase
I've been trying to find out the maker of this vase for a while and was hoping someone could help. It's a pottery vase with raised enamel purple birds, perched onto a flower basket. Surrounding the birds are abstract leaves and pink, purple and blue flowers. The border on the top and bottom have purple squares and maroon rectangle design. The rim of the vase is gold painted. Also, all of the decoration is outlined in black. The vase itself is 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. The mark on the vase is almost completely rubbed off. There is only a D and 2 illegible numbers below it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Re: Enameled Pottery Bird Vase
Agreed. Could be by Dona, Saigon, which have a similar raised decoration. The mark tends to be a smudged ink one on the base, which is liable to rub off.
