It's familiar. Gouda, maybe.

I agree with the familiarity of it, something is ringing somewhere in my head. Tbh I hadn't even thought Dutch but I will look into it.

Re: NERYA POTTERY - Jaipur, (India)
I think we've had a couple of bowls similar to this - I had one and sunny the other - which weren't Id-ed, but I think Dutch is the best bet. Alternatively, Mexico or the Far East.

For me the glaze is too shiny to be Dutch but I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure this is from India. Spotted a jug today with the country and Provence or town written on the base. Will upload a photo. Middle photo of the mark is the right way up: I - N

The jug I saw today.
On the base it looks like INDIA NERYA - hence the I-N on your pot.

Re: NERYA POTTERY - Jaipur, (India)
Well it's taken me a couple of years to id it. I found a chipped pot a few years back which I thought was Delft or Gouda, but Gouda would have been fully marked, and the glaze was far too bright plus the material is more stoneware than the soft white clay of Delft.

Nerya Pottery Jaipur India
I really love this horse as it has such a great expression on its face. However, I have no idea where it came from or who made it. I have looked at Scandinavian horses but they seem to be differently shaped with a hump where above the neck and the decoration differs. I suspect the horse is missing a base (see rough edges where feet are) and that the base would provide more info.
Any pointers gratefully received. The horse is around 17.5cm tall from table to tip of ear and 18cm long from nose to tail.

Nerya pottery from Jaipur, India
Hi. Hope someone can help. Found this small bowl in the North West of England but so far have been unable to id. It measures 11 cm in diameter at the rim x 5.5 cm in height and weighs 175 gms. Good clear mark on the base (NI over a green flower?). Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. Problem solved. BTW I thought originally the NI could have been for Northern Ireland especially with the green flower/shamrock
