3 red pots - Tony Gant? Pook?
found these today in a charity shop which seems to have had a big donation of studio pottery recently. yay! I can't quite tell how these have been made as one the lip on one vase (the left in the picture) isn't quite uniform enough for me to think it is mold made. However, the glazes look a bit too 'polished' to be a small scale production i think. No makers marks so wondering if these are department store items or whether they come from a pottery that makes a lot of similar looking vases and has perfected the techniques so they look uniform and less 'handmade'.

Must admit they don't seem to have a lot of 'Life' in them.

I've seen similarly decorated pots with those bands round the middle in high street stores, so unless they're marked &/or hand turned (cf. Tony Gant) I'd have to agree with philpot that they're standard store pots.

I think they probably are studio pieces rather than mass made.
Got a feeling there was another CPA potter (other than Tony Gant) who did this sort of thing?

A few studio potters do it, yes, but so do Far East manufacturers. they're not saying handmade to me.
