Peter Layton
Peter Layton founded the London Glassblowing Studio in 1976. This particular pot is actually from his time in the Highlands of Scotland when he set up a small studio in Morar.
Re: Peter Layton
The London Glass Blowing Centre is actually a terrific place to see if you are in London for a while. Its not very far from London Bridge tube/Railway station. It's in an old ware house, in a rapidly gentrifying area of South London. You can actually see Glass being blown, and there are work on display for sale by various people. At whopping prices mind you!

It in Bermondsey Street SE1, which also has the Fashion & Textile Museum almost opposite and the White Cube gallery is down the road.

Re: Peter Layton
Those were taken from the window display in the high end upmarket craft gallery Primavera, in Cambridge King Street. Three floors of hand made glass, jewellery and ceramics. Well worth a visit. But if you thinking of buying anything make sure you have a bulging wallet!

Re: Peter Layton
I can believe it Phil, pieces like that don't come cheap. Thanks for the heads up, should I ever find myself in that part of the woods I'll be sure to pay a visit.
