Fashion and Textile Museum - London SE1
A museum that stages a number of exhibitions that would appeal to many vistors to the Forum that is situated in Bermondsey Street, London SE1 (near London Bridge).
The current exhibition that runs until 17 May 2014 though is an absolute "must".
Entitled Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol - 20th century art in textiles and fashion from Cubism and Surrealism to Pop Art.

............... and not a pot to be seen in the whole place.

Thank you. Planning a trip to London (fingers crossed - been postponed for so many reasons) on the 16th so this will be a good place to visit.

As Brin states Peter Layton's London Glassblowing studio is at the north end of the street where you can see pieces that are available to buy plus glassblowing in action.
The Fashion and Textile Museum is another 50 yards down the street on the other side of the road and if you continue for another 100 yards the White Cube Gallery is on the right. It's worth a visit, prices aren't shown and no-one bothers you.
There are also a number of good places to eat so you could spend the best part of the day in just one street.

José is the one you are thinking of perhaps?
José Pizarro, who owns the tapas bar has a restaurant further down the road- called "Pizarro's" would you believe.
Now that we are talking food though - Zucca at 184 Bermondsey St. is the best.

Unfortunately didn't get there today. The friend I was meeting said she'd already been and it was rubbish, so we went to the Viking Exhibition at the BRitish Museum which was rubbish. :(
