It's ringing bells but......
4.5 in high, a definite lustre to the outside. green inside.
The part of the incised mark that is visible reads:
ENGLAND then HAND MADE
There is lettering above, and below just an M showing under
the glaze underrun.

I suspect early 20th Century, contemporary with Brannam Barnstaple.

Yes naomi, wrong clay for brannam, but it's that lustre, and the foamy glaze that is
distinctive, almost ruskin-like. I know I've seen it before, it's bugging me!
Saunders IOW is similar.

I think wrong clay again, The "Hand made" is not used widely in the UK, so maybe a clue.
