Blue glazed faceted jug - Slaneyside Pottery, Ireland
I'm assuming this has no merit, but just checking before it goes to the charity shop. Unmarked. Sides are oddly flattened which made me think it was studio-ware rather than factory made.

My feeling is that it is factory made and I imagine it is very unlikely to be positively identified.
Even if it's only one less thing in your house, I think that "charity shop" is the right decision.

Oddly enough I came across a set of this pottery in an upmarket cookery shop in Salisbury. No marks, unfortunately.

Found it eventually. Slaneyside Pottery. 'Designed in Ireland' so maybe made in China?

I'm sure there are people who would love to receive pottery like that as a gift, it's not collectable but it would look nice at tea time
