Icelandic Pottery Vase Dated 1951
Hoping someone will be able to identify the maker of this lovely little vase. Online resources for Icelandic pottery seems to be somewhat sparse to say the least. Not sure if the mark is meant to read LL inside the triangle or if the shape is supposed to represent something such as mountains.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Rings a bell. I think we had a bird with a similar date -

Thanks Naomi. I'm actually god friends with Redware and was with him when he bought the bird which was almost a year ago I think. From what I can deduce this seems to be the only pottery in Iceland at the time. Could be a rare and valuable piece.
