Bought a few pieces from here this summer. A visit to Fergus Stewart nearby was a much more rewarding experience. All near Lochinver which is a wonderful area to explore and collect

Certainly looks like Highland stoneware. (Highland pottery is a different company)

Pix are OK. Yes it is, there's obviously nowhere to put the backstamp on it.
The blue band round the bottom confirms it.
I just think the decorator was having a bit of an off-day on this example!

Thanks denbydump. His off day is my masterpiece day in that case Still looks good. Thanks for the Stoneware?Pottery Difference too. Buchan was always my favourite though as I lived in Buchan for 3yr.....bloody freezing!!

I did not even realise they are still in business! Dunno if their decoration is as good as it used to be. Or is it just that one had got used to it?
