Yes you are right, ~~blue alpine~~ 1960s. Stewart did a very similar pattern

God I'm losing my touch, doing Midwinter for 25+ years. Tend not to bother
much wth those 60s transfer designs though.

Yes it was pretty awful, BBC news described it as "turgid".
