Japanese shino ware vase - Tachikichi, Japan
Modern studio pottery with Japanese mark. Anyone recognise the potter?

It does look like a mark used by the Tachikichi company, Naomi.
The vase was most likely made in Seto or Mino because it is shino. Shino is one of the styles of Seto pottery. Mino pottery is very similar and exhibits the same styles because in the dim and distant past the Seto potteries had to be relocated there for a time - that's fighting warlords for you.
