Although it looks like a vase it's actually a lamp base. Well potted. Autumnal colours. Inscribed WM on the base.

It is rather odd. Technically it's a very well made pot, but with a shakey monogram  Shrugs 
I wonder if it was made by a professional
potter in their retirement.
