help with id on this pot!

could anyone please help me with the id on this pot?

Looks like a home made pot to me,the clay looks very gritty so the potter may have dug his/her own too

I'd say it's by a hobby potter

i have seen this mark before, just cant make out where

There are a few of these circle marks around, but the ones I've seem have all been impressed stamps rather than inscribed, and none associated with these initials.
