Maria Beckett - Egerton, Kent Empty Maria Beckett - Egerton, Kent

can anyone shed any biographical light on Maria Beckett?  I have a small pot by her but can't seem to find any info on her in the Studio pottery marks bible.

There just seem to be the three sgraffito ware pots by her on google images but no info. Gorgeous pots.

yes, she seems to have been a competent potter. Such a shame there's no info on the web about her.

She could still be potting and, if so, could be a member of Kent Potters.

An email to them can't do any harm. They have a web site but it doesn't give a complete list of members.
