Any ideas ....? Empty Any ideas ....?

I bought this yesterday in a junk shop. It's well made (except for a minor glazing fault). I was drawn to the handle - not sure if it works but it's interesting . The mark on the bottom is an 'A' & 'P' combined.

Possibly Abington Pottery, but I haven't seen one of theirs with a plaited handle before.

Thanks, Naomi, but a quick look at their website suggests it's not their style at all. Back to the drawing board....

Saw mug with a similar plaited handle but it had a TS stamp.

Showed it to a friend today & she agreed about the handle - it just seems too 'big' & fussy for the size of the pot. But .... it's interesting.
