'Poole planter' ! Empty 'Poole planter' !

Post by ppcollectables October 21st 2014, 9:02 am

I see that a variation on the iffy cherub corbels marked B/stone poole is being offered for sale. This is a planter with similar markings. Apparently 'experts' have confirmed that it is early 20th century Poole even though the body is wrong, the glaze is wrong and it is not incised Carter and co.

Please do not remove this post as it is important information and may make someone want to think twice and check it out for themselves.
