Floral jug - Paul Jackson
Hallo all.
This is a rather nice jug which has a clear stamp, but I am unable to find the mark in Fournier. In fact I cannot make out whether the stamp represents two triangles or a letter/number. Annoyingly, the design feels familiar to me, but I cannot recall the maker.
Does anybody recognise this mark/work?
Thank you
Jack

Re: Paul Jackson
Could be the top half of Paul Jackson's early mark. The Yates/Owen book mark is slightly more complicated. It does look like his work tho, but at an early stage in his career.Late 1970's...

Floral jug - maybe Paul Jackson?
Naomi/Philpot, thank you so much for your expertise...I'm impressed by your knowledge.
I've looked up Paul Jackson's early mark and I can see (especially as I tip the jug back a little) that the mark on my jug does indeed match quite closely. Also, as you say Philpott, there is a lot of similarity with my pot and some of Mr Jackson's earlier work.
Again...many thanks.
