Any ideas for use Bjergard pot?? Empty Any ideas for use Bjergard pot??

For a change I know who this is by (the label and impressed marks were a clue) but have no idea what it may have been used for. 12 cms tall with cork bung on side and very small aperture on top. Could this be part of a cruet set perhaps? or an oil/vinegar container.
All thoughts much appreciated
