seed like vessel
not sure if i've put this up for ID some time ago, but here it is. A large, heavy, seed like vessel. Bought from a junky shop in Portsmouth and the dealer said he thought it came from a local potter - he had several similar which he said were meant to be garden ornaments. He couldn't remember the name of the potter so i couldn't google them to see if they were a practising potter or student/hobbyist. Either way, i quite like it and it reminded me of Alan Wallwork in a crude way.
Re: seed like vessel
To quote Brin, "love it" but I don't think that's a mark on the base.

That blue/grey/green glaze crops up on quite a bit of Greek pottery.
