Unknown Backstamp
Hello,
Does anyone know the maker of this vase? It's 8" tall x 3 3/4" wide across the opening. It has a dry bottom that looks like red clay along with a mottled green glaze with a red and gray band. The embedded stamp is on the front of the vase and it looks to be either a tree or antlers.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! - Maria

Hi Maria and welcome to the Forum.
I am not an expert on American studio pottery marks, except for some of the ones that are internationally famous. However, the glazes look like some used by the Nichols Pottery in Eagle Springs. It might be worth asking them. If not, I would imagine that it is likely to be from one of the many potteries in and around Seagrove.
