Help to identify Japanese/Chinese? Pottery mark
Can anyone help to translate/identify the mark on the base of this fellow?
I can't really tell if he's modern or not?
Thanks

Not a traditional pose for a figure from either China or Japan and I cannot translate the mark.
However because of the pose and the look of the stoneware body I suspect that it is late 20th century and likely to have been made in China for export.
However, I am no expert when it comes to this kind of thing so.....

Lovely glaze. I would have thought Chinese, late 20th Century too, but you might find the mark on the Gotheborg.com website.
