Help with Toby style mug
Hello All,
My first post here and I'm hoping that I can get some questions answered and contribute where I can.
Most of the time I can do a lot of research and eventually find what I'm looking for but this one has me stumped. I don't think it's particularly valuable but I'd love to try and find out a little more about it, especially the maker.
The piece is a Toby style jug measuring about 13.5cm (5.5 in) tall and around 12cm (5in) at the base. There are some marks on the bottom. One is stamped "425/1" and what appears to be painted "aa1 A1 19" or "991 A 19".
I'm attaching a couple of images in the hopes someone can help.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Help with Toby style mug
With that style of numbring on the base I'm wondering if it's German. The figure looks Continental - German/Austrian.

Welcome scolada and I agree with what Naomi has said above. Hopefully, one our members from that part of Europe will be able to confirm or not and perhaps come up with a factory.
