small vase - Furstenberg porcelain factory in Lower Saxony
Hello All,
I've managed to ID about 30 pieces in the last few days but this one is stumping me. It's a small vase just under 10cm (3 3/4") tall with a floral pattern and some gold. The makers mark appears to be a crown with a F underneath with some numbers 1992 1/2 & the number 15.
Anyone have any ideas of the maker and age please? Thanks in advance.

Re: small vase - Furstenberg porcelain factory in Lower Saxony
Your vase was made at the Furstenberg porcelain factory in Lower Saxony, Germany where production began in 1747 and continues to this day.
The mark similar to that on your piece was first used in the 19th century but variations have been used to the present day so it is difficult to date from an image.
The numbers might be a pattern number, which could help with dating.
Not saying that it is pre-1915 for certain but what suggests it might be is that from that date pieces exported to the States used a mark with the above in an oval and BRUNSWICK and GERMANY written in the oval.

I found another site which stated that the mark on your piece was used from 1906 until 1918 and then again from 1966.

You guys are great! Very much appreciated.
Oh, do the site rules prohibit asking for opinions on value of an item? I'm not worried about this one but for the future. Thanks.

Value varies so much depending on where and how you're selling it that we don't bother. It's best to check completed listings on ebay to get an idea of how much collectors are willing to pay for such pieces.
