ID Help please small dish marked WM / MW ? Empty ID Help please small dish marked WM / MW ?

Any thoughts please on this 5 inch diameter dish which I originally thought was marked CX or XX but now feel probably W over M or M over W. I did find a similar mark attributed to William (Bill) Marshall but this didn't look like the images of his work

All thoughts appreciated, John
