Continental preserve pot Empty Continental preserve pot

This lovely little preserve pot is approx 4" high and is squarish in shape. The cherub pattern is on each side.It is stamp foreign on the base with no other markings.
Sorry about fuzzy base pick.
Can anyone identify this pot/

Could possibly be Japanese, as it's a bit like the Marutomo/Maruhon/Farylite wares.

Hi Denbydump, thanks for response. I have already briefly check up on these ranges but what is misleading me is the fact it is stamped foreign.

Yes, a lot of them were stamped with just "Foreign" as were many German
pocelain fancy wares from the 20s 30s 50s.

It was the embossed colourful decoration I thought was similar.
