austrian art nouveau?

     

I've been sure it is an amphora vase and I still think it could be or at least austrian/bohemian origin
it's only numbered underneath with "5647" and "2" no makersmark
And there is a handinscribed curl in the middle of the vases bottom which seems to be a "6."
any ideas

I think you're probably right with amphora, although I did wonder about Ernst Wahliss.

There's another one, on the worthpoint site, but with a different number for some reason. I'm not allowed to post a link yet, but search pottery vase amphora butterfly. The seller didn't know the maker.
