Thanks . Yes I agree it looks very like Alan Frewin's work. Found another platter with his mark and the lettering is almost identical.
Going to have to keep an eye on my sister . From someone who was completely disinterested in pots she saw this when I missed it.

There is an identical platter on Worthpoint described as ? Mary Wondrauch.
Any chance do you think?
Can't find any images of her work exactly like it. She appears to produce brown slip on yellow background when she does what I would call her more ' naive' work

I'm not convinced it's one of Mary's. She's a bit messier with her pictures, and a bit naughtier with her verse.

Naomi strikes again. Her vague suggestion that it might be Barbara Winrow is correct.
I contacted the pottery and quickly got a response from her husband, Ian, confirming that Barbara had indeed made the platter.
Made between 1976 - 80 whilst at Epworth , North Lincolnshire
