Yuriko Hill
Yuriko was born in Japan in 1950, came to live in the UK in the 1970s and was married to the artist, Anthony Hill.
She learnt to pot here and was the first unknown potter whose work I exhibited back in the 1990s. Sadly she died in August 2013 but below is one of her hand-built vessels that I sold for the second time just recently.
This is around 18 cm high and is larger than most pieces she made.

Re: Yuriko Hill
It was hand-built by Yuriko Hill and it would have originally been sold by me at the Harlequin Gallery. The number is a stock number used by Yuriko and it would have been made in 2003.

Yuriko was Japanese by birth but was married to the artist, Anthony Hill.
She began making her hand-built vessels in the late 1990s in London, where she lived and worked.
She died in 2012.
