Folk Art Bird Empty Folk Art Bird

Anyone able to identify the country/studio this bird will have come from.  Picked it up from a junk shop in Amsterdam years ago and thought it was Dutch folk art but can't find anything.  Thanks in anticipation.

It's similar to decoration on pottery made in Provence, France.
