About 12" and terra cotta any suggestions for a lead Thanks : )

Looks a bit like African dress. There's a couple of words below the mark but I can't make it out on the photos. Might be a place name.

Cheers Naomi, I think your right in the dress, have tried to take the best photos of the mark they're not clear even with the naked eye.
