Splatter designed studio plate marked BW?
Hi all
I had posted this as a group but it has been requested I split them out for future reference. So here goes.
Picked up some studio at a market today. Paid £13 the lot (for all 4) and based on the two people trying to grab them out of my hands they could be OK. Studio is not normally my thing but I liked these and this type of pot is certainly easier to find than the ones I normally buy. So any advice on the Splatter designed studio plate marked BW would be very welcome.

Re: Splatter designed studio plate marked BW?
It looks to me like something more than BW, maybe a surname? One name that jumped out to me was Bew, as there was a John Bew who potted. However, he died in 1954 and the decoration would be too abstract for pre-1954.

It does look like Bew now I look at it? But as you say very abstract for 1954 or before. Think I will just enjoy it for a while and sell it off as a bargain to somebody later on.
