Stoneware ribbed vase, fluted rim, unusual angle dipped glaze, no marks
Approx. 26cm tall stoneware vase, circumference around the widest part of the body is 48cm, ribbed, fluted (not entirely level) rim, and some kind of angle dipped layered glaze. The layered parts of the glaze are a lovely bluey/turquoise. Quite heavy.
I'm not sure of it's age or origin but it caught my eye at a recent car boot but the seller didn't know anything about it sadly he was clearing his fathers house. I am having no luck finding anything. If anyone recognizes the style I'd love some feedback.

The style is very reminiscent of 70s pottery, potted in places like the Lake District and other rural tourist locations. It probably originally had a sticky label with the potters name and address. One of those where you just have to hope another turns up with an intact label.

It could be the nearby pear tree pottery.

I followed that link and looks very promising, some of the vases look very similar in shape and glaze....and local too! Thanks for that.
