Fat lava auction in Catawiki
Again the Dutch online auction house Catawiki is going to have a "fat lava" auction.
The auction will be ending on Friday 17-Jul-2015.
They called first "fat lava auction"and they switched to "Retro ceramics auction", since many pieces are just WGP with dripped glazes and so.
Anyways a few interesting pieces. Here the link:

Re: Fat lava auction in Catawiki
Vintagebreda - Catawiki does not take PayPal. I'm thinking that there is a big problem transferring monies to the Netherlands from British banks. It's supposed to be easy but because of fraud and money laundering the banks seem to make it very difficult. Even with all the correct numbers I did not manage it for Catawiki.
Is this just me or has anyone else had this problem ans solved it?

@ 22 Crawford St., Yes Catawiki doesn't take PayPal, which in my point of view is a mistake. I contacted them about this and they didn't comeback with a specific answer. More like we are growing in Europe, more lots are being present and described in English, the amount of international bids has increased, bla, bla, bla...but no answer about why they don't take PayPal.
Catawiki is based in The Netherlands and they are having a strong and serious amount of sellers and buyers over here. I think they are planing to expand and I hope they are going to use PayPal in the near future.
When you say that you "did not manage it for Catawiki" is that they don't let you bid or they don't let you sell?
If you need help with any of that please let me know,
Kind regards from The Netherlands,
Fran & Vintage Breda.

I'm thinking the don't use PayPal as they don't want to pay the comission. I emailed them to ask. I can't bit on items as transferring monies directly bank to bank seems extremely difficult. The only way was via Dutch friends who bought stuff for me.
