Unknown orange table lamp
Hello,
I'm new here and i have this hand painted orange table lamp. It seems like its from the 50's or 60's. The center of the lamp is made of some sort of ceramics, and the top and base is made of brass or copper. It seems its a very strange combination because of the abstract flower-like figures and the decorative curly embossed top and bottom.
There is no mark on the painted center or on the bottom of the lamp. I hope someone could help me figure out how old this lamp is and from what country comes from. I think its probably a 50s lamp, but I could be wrong.
Thank you!

Re: Unknown orange table lamp
I'm moving this to ID My Pottery because someone might recognise the ceramic lamp base, which would give you a better chance of it being IDed.
Personally, it reminds me of some Italian ceramics, but unless they are marked or are obviously Bitossi, it's very difficult to pin down a manufacturer.

It looks like it could even be a vase, that has been converted into a lamp.
If you can dismantle it, the ceramic piece may possibly be marked underneath.

Re: Unknown orange table lamp
Presumably there's a hole in the bottom on the vase for the flex.
