Can anyone help with this lidded pot thanks?

A very shallow impressed mark and a G Mark

Shocking pics, I know.

The G mark looks look a fine felt tip mark and the impressed, god knows,

to me though an accomplished potter Shrugs

Thanks SP, I am rather useless with a camera and have taken loads of shots, all blurry .

Thanks I will get some photo help, I put this pot on as its unusual to me but seems like a well made pot.

Zip. problem is lack of light = camera shake. Stick it under a lamp and move about and take several photos = same as SP's solution of outside. More light!
