Help ID my Stoneware Tiger Possibly Chinese
Hello All,
I'm trying to get some more info on this stoneware tiger that I picked up recently. There's a makers mark that is mostly fuzzy but there's also a signature that could be Chinese or Japanese. Other than that, I don't have any information at all. Can anyone help, point me in the right direction to research or pass along some tips please? Here are the images. Much appreciated.

I suspect it's Japanese, Arita. From the top it looks new but possibly early 20th Century but I've been caught out before with late 20thC pieces, such as the Arita and Cantonese cats, with similar marks. They are still being made in the traditional style.
