This loading of pictures process takes some getting use to.
At first I was going to place this in glass but it is more an art piece then that.30" x 12" x 4" Huge Art Glass monolithic blue weighs in at 110lbs. Was told it came from the mid century and was bought in the S.F. Bay area from a private collector.Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank You Frank

I like it, is the piece solid (there's one photo that looks like light refraction on segments) and what does the base look like? Of course the instant assumption would be to think modern but this is not necessarily so. Have you checked all the edges for marks and signatures, up the sides to the top and around base rim as not all makers marks are put on the base of pieces.

RVsaid, It is a beautiful piece. Two things that need to be mentioned.It looks like this was either injected into a mold or poured in three layers.

Second their is a bubble placed dead center/bottom that looks as if it was placed there on purpose

Also depending on lighting a wispy figure appears in a darker blue.
