Could be. Matches SP's comment on the Dorothy Kemp thread

Oh, I put kemp in the search engine earlier and drew a blank. Will check again. Thanks x

She did work in stoneware as well as earthenware but the mark doesn't look right. On Miss Kemp's pieces the diagonals of the K come out from the upright with no right angle section.

I have a number of DK marks attributed to her on my Pinterest board but I couldn't say for certain any of them are Dorothy's

Cheers Naomi, your pinterest boards are really helpful (helped loads on previous id's) I checked them out before posting this pot.
This pot is 'worn' and full of hairlines so not one to cry about but interested all the same : )
thanks.

Re: DK mark? Dorothy Kemp?
Tbh the mark on yours looks more like an RD than a KD

Thanks I will have a look, I have checked all permutations,
tbh, I first thought, when I bought it, Ruth Duckworth which I quickly ruled out when I got it home .
I don't have a mobile phone, so rely on memory when shopping.
Its not a problem though and interesting all the same : ) x

She doesn't appear to have done much work on her own and I believe very little after the early 1960s so there can't be a great deal of her real work around with an individual seal.
I remember going around to someone who describes himself as "advised museums for over 30 years" on the subject of studio pottery a few years ago and noticing a large number of Dieter Kunzemann dishes being described as by Dorothy Kemp. I didn't have the heart to tell him but I think someone else did.
