Japanese style studio vase
Hello.
Here is what I describe as a Japanese style studio vase. It's not a light thing but well thrown. It has painted designs on the side and an impressed seal to the base that I take to be a V? Without the seal I could have taken it for a amateur pottery, but something makes me think it is better than that. Just the care with the glaze placement and blue wash inside. It stands just under 10cm high so the size of a cup or mug. Opinions very welcome.
Thanks

I can see no trace of the cross bar on the A for Bryan Newman of Aller Pottery. But the shape of the surrounding box and the outline of the A are the same. On the fence on this one so far.

Tbh I'm not seeing the quality one would expect from potters like Newman. Looks like a hobby potter to me.
