Small slipware jug 'Bauer ....'? Empty Small slipware jug 'Bauer ....'?

I've just bought this jug and it appears to be stamped 'Bauer (then another word i can't quite decipher). The only info i can find on Bauer is the American company and this is nothing like the work they produce. Anyone any information or ideas on this. Thanks in advance.
