elephant procession pot Empty elephant procession pot

Hello, Can someone please tell me the region of origin of this wonderfully painted "elephant procession" earthenware pot? Is it older or new? There are no marks that I could see and there is some wear to the paint on the interior, so it has been used! Any information or assistance with this query would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! The ears on the elephant look more Indian than African.
