Lidded Pot Marked 'Republic Of Ireland' & 'KK' - Kilkenny Design
It's a lovely small pot, only 4 inches tall to the top of the lid. I can't find much on the mark which I think is KK or maybe W.

I wonder if it is a mark of Kilrush Ceramics in County Clare?

Done a bit of research and I think it's from Kilkenny Design Workshop set up in Ireland in the 60's. Supported by the government, it's aim was to collaborate, inspire and create new standards of design in Ireland. An international collaboration brought Scandinavian influence during the 60's & 70's which may show in the ceramics from around that time. It was closed by the government in 1989.
Kilkenny Design Centre, the legacy of KDW have a website.
