ID, please, for studio tea bowl
Hello,
Any help identifying this studio mark would be much appreciated (hopefully it's the right way up).
The bowl measures 6cm dia, 4cm high.

But Naomi, judging from your contributions elsewhere, you recognise everything. Is there an emoji for crestfallen?

Don't recognise the mark either but it isn't a teabowl, as it is too small and the wrong shape.

Agreed, SP. A sugar bowl, or for a spoon, maybe.
Might be Irish? It wouldn't be in the BSPM book if it was.

Not a teabowl? Oh. I assumed it was as I have a set of eight! Perhaps small ramekins then?

Are they small enough to be egg cups?

Internal diameter is a touch over 2" so duck eggs, maybe, but certainly not your average chicken's egg.

Re: ID, please, for studio tea bowl
They are the right size a sake cup and the mark could just possibly be Japanese. However, it is an odd place for a mark on a Japanese pot.
